SolidWorks sponsors Formula Student Germany to help students design better products

As important is SolidWorks’ commitment to engineering education to encourage design skills and ensure engineering knowledge of tomorrow’s engineers. Since we see Formula Student/SAE as such a valuable initiative for motivated, enthusiastic and skilled graduate students, SolidWorks supports Formula Student and Formula SAE on a global base and is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Formula Student Germany event in Hockenheim on August 3rd-6th, 2006.

Following our commitment SolidWorks provides a Sponsoring Package to all Formula Student Teams and grants a Design & Analysis Award for the integrated use of engineering design and design analysis during Friday’s award ceremony.

To participate in the SolidWorks Design & Analysis Award please submit the requested information in time.
Judgement criteria for this award are a documentation of an integrated iterative design process and some sample files presenting the integrated use and the scope of design and analysis in the areas of static design analysis of parts and assemblies, computational flow analysis and/or engineering dynamics and mechanics.
