Team Description
Team Fateh gets its name from the word Fateh which means “Victory”. Formed in 2008 with the aim of being the best collegiate team in India, we now approach our 10th outing with the aim of being in the top 20, internationally. We’ve had our share of ups and downs, but nothing holds us back. Our team of dedicated young engineers is determined to achieve engineering excellence and our aim of being not only the best in India, but also ranking among the best in the world.
The Team Fateh Formula Racing Team represents Thapar University’s entry into the Formula SAE collegiate design series, a competition sanctioned by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Every year, we design, develop, build and races an open-wheel, open-cockpit race vehicle at Silverstone UK. For the past two years we have been participating in similar event at Hockenheimring, Germany.
