Team Description
SUAS Racing Team was founded in 2021 by engineering students at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences with the vision of producing a state-of-the-art Formula Student vehicle. Since its establishment, the team has enabled students to enhance their technical knowledge and take strong steps into professional life through innovative R&D and product development projects.
After nearly two years of intensive research and development, our team decided to produce an Electric Formula Student vehicle. In line with this decision, we have been continuing our work at full speed under the SUBÜ-TETRA Community. Although we received invitations to competitions in Russia in 2022 and Hungary in 2023, we were unable to participate due to financial constraints. However, these challenges have never diminished our determination to achieve our goals; on the contrary, they have made us even stronger.
Our Vision and Mission
SUAS Racing Team is not just an electric vehicle community; we have embraced a goal far beyond simply producing a Formula car. Our aim is to provide each engineering student with the opportunity to experience the entire vehicle design and production process while also equipping them with critical industry knowledge on how to market and present the final product. In this direction, SUAS Racing operates with the mission of being an engineering school.
Our top priority is not only to manufacture a vehicle but also to create a lasting culture. While ensuring the continuity of this culture with new members joining the team each year, we are also committed to continuously improving the systems we develop. With our focus on innovation and sustainability, our team aims to make a difference in the engineering world.
Our core mission is to contribute to the development of the Republic of Türkiye and to help elevate our country to a globally respected position by fostering highly qualified engineers. With this goal in mind, we work tirelessly for both individual growth and societal advancement.
