Team Description
Our team strives to be one of the top Formula Student teams in the UK using our engineering knowledge to design and manufacture excellent cars. Students work on every aspect of the car from the suspension, chassis and aerodynamic packages to the power and drivetrains. The project is student driven with the aid of experienced faculty members.
Leeds has had a rich history with Formula Student. Formed in 1996, it became the first UK university to take part in the competition back in 1997 by competing in the American league, before FSUK had even formed. Since then we have raced around the world including Australia, Japan and Italy.
