Team Description
Bimasakti Racing Team UGM proudly holds the distinction of being the first student formula team to represent Indonesia in an international student formula competition. We compete in the prestigious Formula Student competitions organized by SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), making history as the pioneering Formula Student team in Indonesia. Bimasakti was established on November 26th, 2010 and launched the first student formula car in 2011. Our journey is marked by unwavering commitment, as we focus on designing and building high performance formula style race cars. With a dynamic and diverse team of youthful students, Bimasakti continuously pushes the boundaries of what’s possible to channel our passion into groundbreaking accomplishment in the motorsport arena. Our commitment is to always give the best version of ourselves to Indonesia with five core values which are Professional, Progressive, Passionate, Solidarity, and People Friendly, but most importantly because we believe that Indonesia deserves our best effort to make the nation proud.
