Team Description
SDU-Vikings is a team of students pursuing degrees within engineering and other at the University of Southern Denmark. The Team debuted in 2007 with a combustion car and switched to electric in 2010. Every year the overall goal has been to improve past years performances. SDU-Vikings is going for a four-wheel drive vehicle this year.
The team’s car this year is four-wheel drive with planetary gearboxes in the uprights. Control strategies include torque vectoring, traction and launch control in order to improve performance. To reduce the size of the accumulator, the weight and size of the car, the team has developed the AMS to increase volumetric efficiency.
The team would like to thank the University of Southern Denmark for its support as well as their advisors. Furthermore, they would like to express their gratitude to all of their sponsors, for all of the contributions they have made, have proved to be crucial for the project's success.
