The cost analysis award is travelling to the island….

LU Motorsports (University of Loughborough, UK) won the Cost Analysis Event at the Formula Student Germany. Despite this year’s rules changes Loughborough could push itself to place one out of 54 teams. The major changes are the dropped price limit of $25,000 and the implementation of “real case-situation” – a specific task, where each team has to show the judges, how to lower the cost of a component.

The University of Stuttgart finished second, followed by the University of Munich.

The Cost Analysis Award will be handed over to the teams during the award ceremony on Sunday.
