Scrutineering inspection sheets available online

All teams need to have their cars scrutineered before being allowed to take part in any of the dynamic events. The order for scrutineering is obtained by ranking the teams on the basis of the time they needed to complete the scrutineering quiz correctly.

This year there will be more teams participating in Formula Student Germany than ever before. Therefore, there will be up to eight teams of scrutineers to get all the teams through scrutineering as fast as possible. Additionally,  each team only gets 1 hour for their first attempt to pass scrutineering. We therefore urge all teams to be well prepared for scrutineering. All teams please take note of the following:

• go over the scrutineering inspection sheet before coming to Hockenheim, and resolve any issues you might find
• enter scrutineering with the tallest driver in the car, belted, and prepared for roll bar height and egress check
• your other drivers might be checked as well upon request of the scrutineer, thus please have them ready
• check your drivers equipment before entering the dynamic gate

If you do not finish Scrutieering within the given timeframe you have to leave the dynamic area, make the required fixes and rejoin the scrutineering queue at the end. And if the scrutineers feel that the car is NOT in a „finished condition“ (per Rule C2.6) the inspection process will be stopped and the team has to leave the dynamic area.
