Review: Formula Student Aerodynamics and CFD Workshop

In the last few weeks, the first workshop on aerodynamics and CFD organized by SimScale and Formula Student Germany e.V. took place. A new approach was chosen in order to interlink theory and practice and to provide all participants with a lasting learning experience.

The workshop consisted of a series of four webinars sessions and related homework assignments. A special highlight here were our aerodynamics experts from the Formula 1, who support us as guest speakers.

We were particularly pleased and surprised at the high number of participants. In all, over 1500 students from 58 countries have registered for the workshop, of which more than 400 have already successfully submitted homework assignments.
