Registration for FSG 2017 is completed

249 teams from all over the world participated in registration, a new record. 37 countries: Austria(5), Bangladesh(1), Belgium(1), Bulgaria(1), Canada(4), China(6), Croatia(2), Czech Republic(5), Denmark(1), Estonia(1), Finland(3), France(3), Germany(94), Greece(4), Hungary(4), India(24), Indonesia(1), Israel(2), Italy(14), Mexico(1), Netherlands(4), Norway(2), Pakistan(1), Poland(4), Portugal(1), Russia(9), Serbia(1), Slovakia(2), Slovenia(2), Spain(11), Sweden(3), Switzerland(3), Turkey(3), Ukraine(1), United Arab Emirates(1), United Kingdom(13), United States(11).

115 teams from 24 countries have been able to register for this years’ event which will take place from 8th until 13th August 2017 on the famous Hockenheimring. 15 Teams will be competing with their driverless vehicles at the Formula Student Driverless (FSD) for the first time. 35 Teams will be competing with their electric vehicles at the Formula Student Electric (FSE). 65 Teams will compete against each other in the traditional competition with internal combustion engines, the Formula Student Combustion (FSC).

133 teams are on the waiting list (79 FSC teams, 7 FSD teams, 47 FSE teams) and hoping to get a chance to take part. The whole world will be represented. 61 active teams are not from Germany, which shows that the FSG is a truly international event.
