DTM-Driver judges ergonomics of student-built racecars

Bernd Schneider, five-time winner of the DTM (Mercedes), enjoyed his stay at the Formula Student Germany event last year and is now up to another visit to Hockenheim.

As a special highlight of the event, Bernd Schneider participated in the Design Judging event. Bernd Schneider probed the ergonomics of several of the cars competing in this year's Formula Student Combustion (FSC), and provided them with valuable feedback. Since Formula Student Germany is first and foremost a design competition, the total design package the teams present is key to successful event participation.

Thursday all cars competing in Formula Student Electric (FSE) were judged on design. Friday it was the turn for the FSC cars. Saturday evening which team has the overall best designed FSC car will be decided in the design finals. Apart from that, Saturday also will see the first of the dynamic events.
