As a part of our service area we are developing power systems for vehicles with electric power train, involving electrical, thermal and other subsystems. One of our main focuses is to merge driving reward and efficiency for e-powered mobility.

How to apply:

Teams competing for the Bosch Engineering Power System Award will be judged on following criteria:

• Integrated network (wiring length, configuration, voltage level, design criteria)
• Battery (cell type, connection, cooling, used energy content)  
• Power management functionality
• Optimal usage of electric energy (e.g. demand-orientated cooling)

The Bosch Engineering Power System Award is open to all teams participating in Formula Student Electric. Your team can apply for the award by submitting an abstract (max. 2 pages including all figures), which elaborates on the main features of your power system concept. The abstract should be a pdf file.

Qualifying based on your pre-submitted application will take place on July 23^rd 2013. The finalists will be published at the Bosch Engineering Forum on August 1st 2013. All nominated teams will get the chance to present their Power System in the Special Award Judging Pit located in the FSG Forum on August 2^nd 2013. Each team will be allocated a 30-minute time slot for the presentation.
